Nestled on the second floor amongst the treetops, the studio is is bathed in an abundance of natural light. With dark hardwood floors and styled with decor from India and Indonesia, this space emanates a peaceful ambiance and is a true sanctuary for Yoga.
Soul Spark Yoga hosts traditional Yoga classes, specifically a Hatha form called Yoga Pranala. The practice consists of pranayama (controlled breathing), asanas (poses), meditation, Yoga Nidra, and energy movements. Through this practice we increase our energy, vitality, and flexibility, bringing a greater awareness of body, soul and mind.
Summer is here and so is the sun in Western WA. During the summer months, from July – September, it is requested you sign up online for classes to ensure your spot. If for some reason there are little to no-signups for a class, it will be cancelled online. Plan your class time at Soul Spark Yoga and sign up ahead of time here .
Dharma Flow @ 7:15pm…every 2nd/4th Thursday: a different kind of Yoga class
This Yoga class is designed to help you along your dharma (path). Each class will be structured to allow you to hone in on what your particular path is in life, find the roadblocks, and help you make real and tangible progress toward that calling through deep introspection. You will feel strengthened as you go through various limbs of Yoga during our class time. You will leave nourished and inquisitive, challenged and awakened. You will walk through the doors of your mind, opening up to new places and possibilities and find new momentum.

Upcoming Series Classes
This 90-minute class is Yoga Pranala with the restful Yoga Nidra practice at the end of class. Done lying in the resting pose of Savasana, Yoga Nidra is a systematic practice of bringing the practitioner to a deep state of relaxation, with 20-minutes of Yoga Nidra being equivalent to 2 1/2 hours of restful sleep. This is considered the dessert of any Yoga practice as it brings about a relaxation that most people are not able to achieve even through sleep. These classes are usually done in the 7pm time slot to allow for maximum relaxation. Be sure to bring your eye pillow for the Yoga Nidra part for blissful relaxation!
This class will relax you and wash away stress from your day. Suitable for all levels, this Restorative Yoga class will bring ultimate relaxation as we get into supported poses on the mat using blankets and bolsters. This is an especially appropriate class for those who suffer from fibromyalgia, arthritis, and multiple sclerosis as it is gentle. Be sure to arrive no less than 15-minutes early to get set up and bring your eye pillow to class for ultimate relaxation (we also sell some at the studio).
This slow-paced class is composed of poses held up to 5 minutes. Beginning with the grounding practice of pranayama (controlled breathing), we set the pace breathwise for a class of poses that are held low and closer to the mat. These poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—so as to increase flexibility and circulation.
This practice is very meditative and helps the practitioner to experience a deep and fulfilling practice.

The only initial cost for this class is the one-time non-refundable fee which is the rental price of the text (you return the text when you are done using it). The ongoing classes are free to all students who are 5, 10, or 15-class pass holders. These class have no definite end date. Once we get to the end of the text, we will cycle through it again. This means you can have the opportunity to go through the book as many times as you wish.
